Aidan O'Shaughnessy is a Musician, Songwriter, Composer, Arranger, Music Producer and Engineer based in the City of London, UK.

Aidan had a strong interest in music from an early age due to having music loving parents. At the young age of 12 Aidan stumbled upon a VHS tape labelled ‘Headbangers Ball’. What was to happen next would change Aidan’s world. When he pressed play the first thing that came up on the TV was Richie Sambora shredding the iconic guitar solo to Bon Jovi’s Bad Medicine on his White Super-Strat. Aidan hinted for almost an entire year for a Stratocaster of his own and when he got home from school one day his Grandmother had left an electric guitar waiting for him. It was his prized possession. Aidan immediately started guitar lessons but decided to study on his own around the age of 15 and this love of self learning has gone on through out his professional career.

In music, tone, texture and perfection has always been what Aidan has chased after, but this obsession became so much more during his studies at New College Durham. Aidan was always in the college studio learning and experimenting with a hands on approach and then reading about the history of it all and learning different recording techniques. Aidan had really caught the studio bug as this is where he has full control over making music as perfect as he could. Luckily the college was training a lot of the students to learn how to record in the studio so Aidan jumped to the opportunity to record them and test out everything that he was learning, to the point where he was getting booked by students from across the other year groups. Soon after he began working with MP Records as a Producer, Songwriter and Session Guitarist.

In 2012 Aidan moved to London to study for his Bmus Popular Music Performance Degree at BIMM London. Aidan didn’t take on the typical student role as he was working constantly from his home studio, recording and mixing for his new client base.

Aidan has been working hard for the past five years of his career honing his craft. He has worked with a large amount of bands and artists in the past and is currently available to work on new and exciting projects.
